Welcome to The Macrame Laboratory. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website (https://www.themacramelaboratory.com) and any online courses, digital products, patterns, videos, or services provided by Krok Zen Group SL (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By using our website, purchasing courses, or accessing any of our content, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

By accessing our Services, you confirm that you are legally permitted to enter into a binding agreement in your country of residence.
Use of our platform must comply with these Terms and applicable laws and regulations.

2. Intellectual Property

All content available on our website and learning platform — including but not limited to:

  • macramé tutorials

  • video lessons

  • e-books

  • patterns and knot diagrams

  • downloadable PDFs

  • images, graphics, photographs

  • written instructions and course materials

Permitted Use

You may use the tutorials and materials solely for personal, non-commercial learning.

Strictly Prohibited Actions

Without our prior written permission, you may NOT:

  • download, copy, screen-record, or reproduce our videos

  • republish or redistribute our content anywhere

  • upload our materials to your own website, social media, YouTube, course, or blog

  • use our patterns or courses to teach workshops, classes, or online lessons

  • sell, share, or distribute our PDFs, patterns, or course files

  • remove watermarks, branding, or copyright notices

Any violation may result in:

  • immediate removal of access

  • legal action

  • claims for damages and/or injunctive relief

We reserve the right to track usage and take necessary measures to protect our intellectual property.

3. Course Access – Lifetime Access

“Lifetime access” refers to the duration of the course’s availability on our platform.

Included

  • All lessons included at the moment of purchase

  • PDFs, patterns, diagrams, and any downloadable material designated as downloadable

Platform Changes

If we migrate to a new platform or update technology, we will make reasonable efforts to maintain your access.

Course Updates

Significant updates or new versions of a course may be sold separately.

Revocation of Access

We may revoke access if you violate our Terms (e.g., unauthorized sharing or commercial use of materials).

Downloads

  • Only PDFs and patterns marked as “downloadable” may be downloaded.

  • Video content is strictly for streaming and cannot be downloaded.

Account Requirement

Your account must remain in good standing to retain access.

4. Subscription Terms

By subscribing to a monthly or annual plan, you gain access to:

  • current and future macramé projects included in your plan

  • downloadable patterns and worksheets

  • any additional content as described on the subscription page at the time of purchase

Download Policy

  • Videos: streaming only

  • PDFs and patterns: can be downloaded for personal use only

Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.

Cancellation

  • If cancelled through your account: access ends immediately

  • If cancelled via email to contact@themacramelaboratory.com: access continues until the end of the billing cycle

Refunds

We offer a 7-day refund policy for first-time subscription purchases.
Refunds are not available after this period or after using a free trial without cancelling before its end.

Price Changes

Prices may be updated. Existing subscribers keep their rate as long as their subscription stays active.

Fair Use

Subscriptions are for individual personal use only.
Sharing accounts or excessive/commercial usage may result in revoked access.

5. Promotions and Discounts

  • Promotional offers are time-limited and valid only as displayed at checkout.

  • Discounts are not applied retroactively.

  • Subscribers joining with a promotional price keep it until cancellation.

  • Promo codes may only be used once per user.

  • Free bonuses offered during promotions may be removed upon early cancellation.

6. Refund Policy

One-Time Course Purchases

We want you to enjoy your learning experience.

You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase if you are not satisfied.

To request a refund:
Email contact@themacramelaboratory.com with your order information.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Refunds will not be granted if:

  • you violated these Terms

  • you accessed a significant portion of the course content

  • you repeatedly request refunds

We reserve the right to deny refunds at our discretion.

Digital E-Books / Patterns / Downloadable Products

Due to the nature of digital goods:

  • All sales of digital patterns, PDFs, and e-books are final and non-refundable once access or download is provided.

If you experience technical issues, please contact us for assistance.

Duplicate purchases will be reviewed and corrected where applicable.

7. Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Krok Zen Group SL is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website, content, or services.

Our total liability will not exceed:

  • the amount paid by you in the 6 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim,
    or

  • EUR €100,

whichever is greater.

All content is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind.

8. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain.

Any disputes must first be attempted to be resolved amicably.
If no resolution is reached, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we believe you violated these Terms or acted in a manner harmful to us or others.

Upon termination, all rights provided to you under these Terms cease immediately.
Sections regarding Intellectual Property, Limitations of Liability, and Governing Law survive termination.
